Educator – Clarinet Teacher Toronto
I’ve been an active clarinet teacher in the Greater Toronto Area for over 15 years as the Clarinet Visiting Artist at both the Etobicoke School of the Arts and Mayfield Secondary School, as instrumental music teacher at Claremont school, as well as a school retreat clinician and private clarinet lesson teacher. My private students have been accepted into music programs at University of Toronto, Western University, York University, among others.
Everyone can enjoy and benefit from learning a musical instrument. One of the great pleasures of music is sharing it with others, and I’m dedicated to providing high-quality clarinet and bass clarinet lessons to students of all ages in the Greater Toronto Area.
Each student has a different musical goal – be it a University entrance audition, RCM examination, or just being able to play better in band at school, and I strive to adjust my teaching methods to the learning style of every individual.
Learning music cultivates creativity, self-expression, and curiosity, but I do understand that learning the clarinet (or any instrument) can be frustrating. I bring patience and understanding to all my clarinet lessons because I know the fulfillment music can bring when playing becomes easier and natural and musical growth can flourish.
“Angelina Lopez-Frank is a dedicated, calm and knowledgeable teacher. She has mastered her instruments and yet understands how to teach the foundational skills my students need. Her guidance is systematic and clear. She inculcates excellent habits and techniques through clear explanation and demonstration. I feel very fortunate to have Angelina teach at my school!”

Learning music cultivates creativity
Learning to play music can trigger your brain to work in new, creative ways. It involves sound, sight, and physical feeling, stimulating the brain to orchestrate its different areas as you discover the gestures and movements necessary to play an instrument.
