Clarinetist
From the concert hall to the ice at the home-opener for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Angelina Lopez-Frank’s love of performing clarinet has no limits. As a performer her specialty is classical music, but her artistry is enhanced with experience in traditional klezmer music and New Orleans-style jazz.
Ms. Lopez-Frank has performed in many ensembles including the Korean Canadian Symphony Orchestra, the Windsor Symphony Orchestra, the Niagara Symphony Orchestra, Sneak Peek Orchestra, and Royal Regiment of Canada, among others.
She has participated in music festivals in the United States, Canada, and Switzerland both as a chamber musician and soloist. She has been featured on Wisconsin Public Radio and has performed with a diverse range of musicians including Dame Evelyn Glennie and Bobby McFerrin.
Ms. Lopez-Frank received her Masters Degree in Clarinet Performance from the University of Toronto and has studied with clarinetists Joseph Orlowski, Donald Oehler, and Eric Mandat.
